Lowering Springs - Do they throw a code? (Eibach)

I asked my local BMW shop about installing the Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs on my M5 Comp. He said not an issue, but did reply with the following:

"Since your M5 has adaptive electronic suspension, have you looked into lowering and not have a warning or dash light after? Just concerned if needing coding to know height has changed?"

Anyone with the Eibach kit or other lowering springs have any issues? Do our M5's throw any codes, due to the height change through lowering springs?

Any feedback would be great!

You will not have any errors after installing lowering springs unless they damage something during the install.

You should have no issues.

There’s no sensor associated with a spring. Shocks yes.

There are ride height sensors but lowering springs won’t trigger a code. You do have to disconnect and unbolt one end when installing springs and you also must be very careful not to pinch or misalign the strut control wires on top of the rear struts when reinstalling the rear struts.
