I think everyone's auto insurance recently went up, well sometime earlier this year. That's what my state farm agent told me. It was an across-the-board rate hike for auto insurance. That lists is amazing though. A 911 GT3 is cheaper than an MSC! Amazing...

USAA quoted my better half and I, 2K each last week when we purchased an IX and M5 Comp (almost tanked the deal). So switched to progressive 1K for each which is the same we were paying for our trade ins (MDX & Supra MKV). Plus there was no need to purchase GAP because its included in the policy. Not sure whats going on with USAA. I'll check back in a few months to see if prices have changed. USAA is the best in costumer service from my experience.

I checked to see what Progressive would be if I switched my three vehicles over from USAA. I would be paying $1,225 more every 6 months if I switched. I am glad it worked out for you.

Im not advocating for either insurance company, but that is so odd. I would have stayed with USAA if it made sense to.
