I am posting this for a friend in case anyone is interested. The car is completely stock, it has 25 miles on it, and the ask is $185K.

The car basically came from the dealer, to the owner, who has multiple vehicles and decided to sell this car. No stories, no drama.

The car will go to auction next month otherwise, but since I personally look for cars on this forum often I figured I would post it out here if anyone was interested.

Reasonable offers are welcome, but I think we all know how it feels to try to sell a car and get something unrealistic.

It is one of those things that is low pressure. I believe the owner has a few cars, just had different plans. I think the wrapping is still on the seats. But from what my friend told me it is going to an Auction on the third week of October if it does not sell through this forum.

Best of luck! I couldn't get mine to sell for even $160k on this forum with 2100 miles on it and full PPF and ceramic coating. Car was MINT, never even used launch control a single time. I traded it in on Tuesday.

It's because people are pissed off at owners trying to get a nearly $40,000 profit from being first in line for getting a car. Everybody is over the CS hype now. It is what it is.

At $160k I was making less than a grand when you factor in cost for full PPF, ceramic coating, ceramic tint, IND painted front reflectors, etc. But yeah if someone was paying $180k I could see that. Will miss the car but glad got out of it without taking a loss. On to something new.

The market is the market, these cars are still doing $180K's at auctions. And it is not just the CS in particular, I have heard of Lightning pickups selling at $15K premium.

I see what you added as a point. However, you still made a profit. That's not normal unless you're selling a Ferrari (and a couple other). These may auction at $180. Those buyers aren't bimmerpost members. They're car brokers looking to make a quick buck off gullible buyers. Yes the market "is what it is at auction", and that's who those are.
