Where do you store your sunglasses?

Where do you store your sunglasses in the M5? There are no good places in the center console, no fixed easy access flip-open overhead compartments that I can see. Until recently, I had Velcro'd my Ray Ban case to the overhead liner, but I have some new shades that don't provide a secure case like the Ray Bans. Small problem, but annoying nonetheless.

I keep nicer ones in a hard case in the driver's side door. I keep a less nice setup just placed in the door.

I keep both of my glasses in hard cases in the bottle holder on the driver side door. They never fly out...even under sporty driving. 😎

Clearly that spot is for Garage Door Opener....for my work parking lot, I programmed a button, but sometimes it does not work....and rather not get locked out.....so I keep it in the bottle spot. LOL. Actually that is pretty much the only thing I leave in plain sight and that is just to remind me to grab it if I change cars otherwise I end up parking in a shitty area.....that is not acceptable even with the '15 Q.....

All my sunglasses are from the same brand. I keep the hard case they come with and leave it in the door

I keep mine in the small 'glove box' compartment on the left just below the steering wheel level. My sunglasses and hard case fit in there nicely.

In a hard case in the glovebox.
Very unpractical...

At least in my previous car (X5M) I had a storage for sunglasses.

Velcro to the headliner. Convenience trumps styling yet again!

I keep mine on this ///M cheap clip I bought on eBay that attaches to the visor. The opposite end has a second clip too, typically keep my office parking garage card there. It's totally made in China, but does the trick.

Bought this on Amazon. It replaces the grab (oh-s**t) handle. I have no use for it on the driver side. I doubt I'll be tracking the car so I was so also considering it on the passenger side.

I did this years ago on M3. Ordered it for my current M5. Anyone have some good advice on how to get the little clips that cover the screws off. I tried prying them, thinking they would just pop off, which would give access to the mounting screws underneath. But they wouldn't pop off. Do they slide off a certain way, pop off a certain way, or was I just being too careful? I was prying pretty hard... felt like I was going to break the plastic, but it didn't come off.

My windows are all tinted, including the full windshield. 20% sides and rear, 35% front windshield. So I don't wear my glasses in the car. 😉

I use the bmw sunglass case and attach it to the overhead sun shade. Not the nicest looking solution but does the job well
