Left front tire 10F hotter than the rest

My left front tire always runs 10F hotter than the other three after all 4 have warmed up to operating temp.

I found this over on the M2 forum:

The reason the left front tire is always hotter is because of the auxiliary radiator that's in the wheel housing. My left front tire temp on my M5 is always hotter also and that's why at least on the M5.

Now I know it's normal!

Anyone else notice this?

Nope. Buffalo, NY, USA

It's been around 80F ambient temperature lately.

Yes, on both of my M5s. It's known. It's normal. Oil cooler/heat exchanger is there or thereabouts.

Same thing for me also. It was the same on the M4 also. I am not sure what is cooled by that heat exchanger on the left side?

I know it sounds obvious....but is this all the time? Or is the sun possibly shining down on that tire the whole time?

I find my tires are normally hotter on the driver side because the sun is blasting from the south in the morning. I would assume that's only if the car has been sitting obviously....

That affects it, yes. But once they normalize from that effect, you'll see the front left begin to get and stay warmer.

Do you not comprehend the question is not about tire temps when it is parked.

Poster actually said "after all 4 have warmed up to operating temp"

Oh, I get it. Your reply was some sort of joke! LOL

The left fronts of my past M3s M4s and M5 all run hotter than the others everytime leaving my shady garage when I pull it up on the Idrive after a few minutes.

What idiot would think sunshine would cause a significant tire temp change! LOL.

Nobody! That's why you must be kidding!! LOL

You must be like 19 years old. The tell-tale sign is normally when a person's writing/grammar looks like they are texting a teenage girl.

I'm glad you were finally able to step up to a man's car....even if it means you are back living with your parents.

Fucking moron.
