Any recent M Individual custom order experience?

The title says it all. Looking for anyone who has any recent M Individual custom order experience to post or PM me.

With the death of Euro Delivery, I walked away from BMW for a bit, and have moved a couple of times so no real loyalty to any one dealer.

Looking for someone who knows the M and individual program inside and out and can get actually get allocation. Dont care where in the US they are located, just don't want to brook any BS in my build or order.

Any recent successes, or established long term relationships with trusted advisors you can share are appreciated. If their info needs to be PM'ed due to forum rules, I understand

Thanks in advance,
Chris

micvite is probably your go to person for advice on this.

Not sure if you’re looking at M cars generally, or the F90 specifically, but if it’s the latter, I would get on this ASAP because EOP for the LCI is 07/24.

I thought the books closed on individual f90 some time ago now.

Sorry if unclear... skipping the F90 generation. looking to reserve allocation for G90/G99 early.

Yes, I was going to say I don’t think there’s any way to get an order in.

You can probably hop on an informal “list” at this stage, but this is likely way too early to actually secure an allocation. I’d be extremely surprised if they are discussing allocations this far out.

As for the ordering process, I’m sure it will be just like any other ordered BMW — M or otherwise.

I do have a fantastic dealer I placed my ordered car through (that I had to back out of) that I could recommend, but I wouldn’t tell you that you should definitely use them if the geography doesn’t make sense.

If you have reputable dealer locally, and you can secure a deal you’re comfortable with, you probably don’t need to expand your search to nationwide. If you think all the other BMW dealership in close proximity to you are subpar, then that’s a different story.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Am looking to establish the relationship early enough that it goes smoothly and without delay once allocations open up. My last CA was awesome but he moved on to selling Ferraris.

You’re welcome! Start by vetting your local dealers and go from there. If you are comfortable with sharing your location on this thread, ask us who we recommend in the area, and you’d get some great feedback I’m sure. Especially if you’re in NY/CA/TX areas where a lot of of members are.
