Most dealers mark up the MF to offset any "discount" they give you, so it's always prudent to ask what they are quoting (at least I do). If it's not base, ask for it, but be prepared for a gamut of answer on why it's marked up. Remember, dealers want to make money on any deal. Also, asking for/getting base MF assumes you have tier 1 credit.

But to ensure you will always get base MF without the hassle, just go with a broker. Saves time, less stress, and you'll get a great deal.

Hope it helps. Good luck!
Using a broker sounds like a good idea. I saw an ad on lease traders and thought it was a scam or something. Is it usually just a flat fee?
Any recommendations on good brokers?

Yes it’s a flat fee but varies depending on broker. Check out leasehackr which has a lot of info, or you could reach out to Dan Next Level Auto Brokers who is a member here.

Good luck!

Hey all. Anyone seeing any good deal this month in California?
I was looking at a G80 Xdrive but need to consider some options due to my other car being totaled by a truck (I'm fine, no injuries).

Been speaking to Clutch but only reached out today so had nothing back yet.

My local is saying there's no way he can discount the 2021 LCI but I am in the Bay Area and they all seem to think it's fine to sell above MSRP around here (the G8X are going for $20k+).

I'm looking for $1300 a month or near enough - M5 comp pack, driver assistance pack and exec pack are all I'm after and I don't care about colors etc other than I'd prefer it not be red. If you know anyone or can pm me if you're a broker I'd love to work with you. I'll take the car tomorrow if I can get it for 1300 or under and I need it by the end of the month - can also pick up in LA if needed.

Thanks!

Edit - Clutch came in clutch with the best deal for anyone reading this. Probably pulling the trigger later.

I'm considering the M5 LCI or the upcoming M3 xDrive too. If the M3 xDrive is marked up $20k I might as well just get a M5 LCI. I just messaged Clutch on leasehackr with no reply. Is there a better way to reach them?

Maybe one with zero options and a less popular interior/exterior color spec. 🤷🏻

It was fully loaded including B&W etc for $1360 and 3700 drive off in the end. I decided against it, the M5 is a great car but it's more than I need for more than I want to spend. Cheers all. Maybe see you in a few years!

What dealership if you don’t mind sharing? That’s a hell of a deal!

Hit up Clutch - the $700 on the $3000 included their rate

You didn't get anything. I got a deal for an RS5 sportback for $800 less a month total and took it to save the money, and still have a great car. I was only looking at an M5 because I couldn't get the M3 until September and need a car now.

This guy doesn't have a $560/mo RS5 neither does he have a $1360/mo M5C.

Yeah which is why I asked the question

And yeah my 2019 S5 was close to that monthly which is why I was taken aback by his comment because clearly I didn't negotiate effectively!
