Yeah not my personal cup of tea, I hate brown and beige interiors lol. Still looks cool. The dash reminds me of the mocha color on the lesser trims which I thought was cool lol. It really sucks they don't bring a lot of these colors on the premium leathers but perhaps it's just not possible to dye real leather in those colors

Back in the 80s, a good friend had a bright orange Trans Am with red interior. It looked great and I never recall thinking, "that looks terrible…" Go for it I say.

Finally scheduled for production with a week 10 (March 6th) start date, probably will see the car end of April or so.

Sweet. Mine is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Lol. Once they start making yours, they knock it out in less than a week.

Yeah, I'm aware, it'd my third one lol. But mines going to take quite a while longer because of the upholstery.

I'm hoping it turns out nicely, I saw it in an m4 and I wasn't blown away by the color (was hoping for something a bit brighter) but we'll see lol. Considering bmw that this matched and looked good but khayalami didn't I'm sure it'll be fine😂

Did you get the Fiona Red individual interior? That must have cost a pretty penny. Individual interiors are much more expensive than individual paint, as I recall.

Yes I did, and yes it did😂 it was a bit of a roller-coaster with the decisions, when I found out there was FROZEN motegi red I was like ok I want that instead of orange, nope, discontinued because NO ONE has EVER ordered that color in the history of bmw apparently. Like how does that even happen? I can't find a single picture of the color, just touch-up paint haha. So I was like ok whatever frozen orange is gonna be great. But then I was like hmmm what If I did orange on orange like some m3s and 4s I saw? Nope! Orange interior m5 doesn't meet bmws vision for what the car should be (I guess too sporty or flashy?) So I was like fk it if they think frozen orange on fiona red is gonna be good let's keep it😂. They said it's 18k u want it or nah? when I asked hey.... so what's this gonna look like? Cuz I see a bunch of variations like how the m3 gets it one way, the m8 a different way, the x Cars yet again have different ways of doing it the response I got was: red leather will have black stitching, black leather with red stitching. Thanks! Super helpful! I doubt it'll be bad but there's always that lingering in the back of my mind lol...

Haha thanks! So far I've only seen 2 other frozen orange m5s, one lci in Bulgaria and one pre lci in the states so exterior will be 1 of 3 I believe but whole build def 1 of 1.
