HELP: What is this? Picture attached

I just noticed this the other day and I don't know what it is. It looks like a built in camera but I don't have this option. Is it some type of sensor?

High beam assist - detects cars coming towards you. It activates and deacticates high beam accordingly.

OK, I do have the far light assist. Thats what i thought but I wasn't sure because there are so many sensors around the mirror...

Thats the dimming mirror sensor isn't it? There is one in the mirror glass too and the mirror compares the 2 - hence knowing if someone is dazzling you from behind and it then does its photochromic thing. It needs one at the front too to detect darkness as obviously during daytime the mirror sensor would be "dazzled" all the time.
