I have tried that. Being the guy in the right lane. Autobahn, cruisecontrol on 100mph(160kph), fairly relaxed ride. And the.. BOOM
Some kind of missile just blasts past and I could just feel my car (5-series) get jerked by the air pressure/shockwave. A bit scary..
sick. I have had my current BMW m235 up to 110mph . I used to have a 2001 mustang gt very moded. had that up to 145mph was nice but everything come at you very fast. better not look down for a second to check radio

Gotta say.. just got in from Munich today.. lol I was that guy going close to 300 on Autobahn, believe me I'm no brave guy , however this M5 Competition seems to give me confidence in a vehicle I've ever felt before... for about 1,000ks in Germany this car made me feel 30 years younger... what's that worth who knows but I don't regret a dime or moment..

That's one hell of an experience to be able to run your M on the Bahn!
I haven't been on it since '06, but knew it well. I'm frequently on the Autostrada in Italy, visiting family, etc. and certain sections resemble the Bahn. Was there last year and ran an Alfa through Southern Italy and my cousin let me ride his KTM through the streets of Palermo. Talk about treacherous!

Imagine someone passing at 70mph, you come up too fast at 168 to be able to react in any way that wouldn't result in carnage.
I know right? I'm assuming these type of speed related accidents don't happen often but when you see it on tape it just looks nuts.
Nothing is left
