Price check on east coast
Looking to see what people in the SE are actually* paying on M5 comps.
What if anything off MSRP? Hoping someone on here can chime in. Bluestone M5 comp... black wheels, drivers aid, exec pack, full murano, CF roof, CF side skirts, B&W sound MSRP $124K offered 1500 off, after "fees" were added, discount was 1k off (they basically waved the Destination fee). Curious if that's average, below or decent. Being the internet someone is always getting 10-20k off a hot selling car. Never been to a car forum where those weren't the average "savings". But seriously, I really am hoping to get real world, average numbers to be fair to myself and to the business selling it to me. Hep meh if ya can. Thanks! |

I think you should be able to do better than the deal you're being offered as the car has been out for some time and they're on dealer lots. I suggest calling different dealers around the country and see who's really willing to negotiate; the savings will far outweigh the cost of having the car shipped. Good luck.

Before I purchaser mine 6 weeks ago I had three deals on the table for at minimum 10K off a comp in stock on the lot. This was 3 different dealers on the east coast in writing with very little effort.

I have not found any close to me (via cars.com/autotrader) that have all the options or colors I want or would consider. I believe I may save more if I was more flexible. Thanks for the input, perhaps Ill try another search and see. |

Yes, just put some feelers out and you will start getting deals. Timing is everything. I looked for dealers with smaller markets or multiple units sitting on the lot and the deals they proposed were consistent with a little bit of work. After I put a deposit on one several hundred miles away my local dealer called me at the last minute and said they weren’t going to lose me as a customer and matched the deal that I had. They were substantially more to start with but in the end they matched it. Sounds like you might be facing a similar situation so just keep working a little bit.
