That is absolutely flying.

Must be awesome to have that much power coming out of the toe of the boot.

I dont know about OP, but i was hitting 122 after coming out of the toe of the boot fefore the braking zone ot t8 and 150 before the bus stop according to Harrys GPS. Mine is e92m3 SCed by ess-550 kit.
Interesting what was OPs speed there and at the back straight.

Back straight was 152mph GPS, and 124mph before the braking zone coming out of the toe. Pretty close actually.

I track my e92m3 quite often and its tough to keep up with an m4 with a good driver. I keep saying my next car will be a pcar and then I look up prices and go damn I need an ///M4.

True that. M3/4 a lot of car for the money. Couldn't buy a lightly used several year old Carrera for same money and not as comfortable DD either.

I feel you on the Pcar though, I'm going to have to get that out of system at some point too.

In LA even base Caymans are quite not the bargain.

I may get a Cayman GTS but then at that point even though it would feel awesome I think an M4 will destroy it on track just based on the straights. I may be wrong though I would have to try out both.

Anyone want to let me drive two laps at the track of their cars?

I agree with the above statement. I have them both (equivalent chassis as in 997S and E90). Different cars, pros and cons. You gotta have a 911 to appreciate it. Some tracks M3 is faster, some the 911. Both equally lightly modded. The fact that on some tracks my 3700lb car is faster than my 3200lb car boggles me....

I enjoyed the engineering of the 911 like as is when you have to change rotors, DIY, brake pads etc, very well engineered and light on consumables. DD not as much fun.

Cheers,

Lutfy

I've always driven the F80 with DSC off, but I have a lot of experience on track. If you don't have a lot of on track experience I would recommend sticking with MDM on. As you can see around 11:55 in my video, the rear end gets loose pretty easy, and if you're not expecting it your 80k car may end up in a wall. Not a good time.

Indeed it is - I liked it better when they all had 360's though, the 430 Challenges are tough to keep with. For 500hp, they're really quick.

You did a great job keeping up with them for sure. The 430 challenger is a serious car on the track.
