F90 M5 760WHP 750WTQ Pump Gas Meth Injection +168AWP +184AWTQ

Anyone saw this ? Looks like it was tuned by Halim@HCP

Our customer’s @iba_33 2019 BMW M5 laid down 760 AWHP & 749 Lb/Tq with our Stage 3 upgrade, which includes Boost Logic intake and downpipes , snow performance stage 2 methanol injection kit @hc.performance custom tune on 98 octane and stock turbos

We gained 168AWHP & 184 Lb/Tq compared to when it was stock

Special thanks to Halim from@hc.performance for the custom tune & @boostlogic for the intake and down pipes @snow_performance for the methanol injection kit

What are the disadvantages of daily driving a vehicle with meth? aka... how long is that sucker going to last before it explodes?

How much more power could be added by some upgraded turbos? Where is the "blocker" now for more power? It probably isn't fueling...

disadvantages are the constant refill, and potential fire of course.
my '09 335 caught on fire on the highway; one of my methlines came loose, and poured onto the turbos. toasttt

740-760 is what the handful of pure guys are running right now. I think fueling is maxed with this setup, based on what the f10 guys were pushing ( might be diff for the comps)

not worth the hassle IMO. run race gas and call it a day.

Garage List
2023 BMW G80 M3  [0.00]
2020 BMW X4MC  [0.00]
16' BMW X4 M40i  [10.00]
06 Cadillac STS  [0.00]
all the fires are caused by cheap meth kits such as nylon lines used by most with jb4 and some bad fittings with lower base aem kits that cost merely $300-400

this car from what i see is running a proper setup Snow Performance Stage 2.5 (Braided AN Fittings Lines) no leak going through there and its own VC-50 Controller included

what's the refill rate like for meth? how much how often?

i thought you could daily meth but race gas was like $8/gallon and is just for track days?

theres no black and white answer on that. its whatever you set it at. either activated by boost, or throttle. either 100% meth, or diluted with distilled water.

race gas can be run as much as your pocket can afford.

100 oct is $10/gal here in NYC
ms109 is +-100/5gal jug which yields a higher octane

Will a stock car make more power just by putting race gas in the tank, or do you have to have a tune? Please excuse my ignorance.

no you need a tune to advance the parameters to benefit the higher octane. you can do 100 octane max, but won't feel a power difference per se.

While it's true that gasoline has a higher energy density (about 18,400 BTU/pound) than methanol (9,500 BTU/pound), if you can burn three times more methanol than gasoline per power stroke, you can make more power.

Gasoline, when it undergoes a phase change can suck out about 150 BTUs of heat energy per pound of fuel, which results in a temperature drop.

Methanol, on the other hand, takes 506 BTUs per pound of fuel of heat energy to make the phase change.

When the engine flowing 1,000 cfm of air, the 5.6 pounds of gasoline will take about 840 BTUs of energy, versus 8,855 BTUs for methanol—more than 10 times as much. This is what makes methanol such an effective fuel in forced-induction applications like turbocharging and supercharging, and it absorbs so much heat that an intercooler often isn't even needed.

Ditto. Would like to see if there is going to be problems putting that kind of power down.

i had meth on my cls63. only had to fill the tank 3 or 4 times in a full year. it all depends. if you're racing 10-20 runs every day, then yeah but if you're doing that, pushing 750 whp, your car won't last 6 months IMO.

the meth only sprays if its required.

Agreed. High temps and high boost = kaboom.
