Sooma,

I'm on KW HAS and went this route 100% due to the fact at I can make adjustments at will. Any fixed height spring (both F90 and M550 H&R's) will not provide this flexibility; once it's on you're stuck with the look and feel.

I originally went with F90 H&R and never installed after seeing the feedback here. Subsequently I exchanged them for the M550 H&R's and was not convinced that installing M550 springs on an F90 M5 was the route I wanted to go; I returned those as well and never installed them. This all before my damn car even arrived.

Finally, I settled on KW HAS as I had gone this route on both on my F10 M5's and really liked the fact I could make endless adjustments to strike good balance between ride height and ride quality. The Mode Carbon F90 M5 convinced me this was the route to go; Sam was kind enough to provide feedback.

I adjusted the springs once after they settled and actually went lower as the ride quality was very good.

I'm extremely happy with the setup on my M5 Competition.

You can see the ride height in this picture; for reference the front is about 1 turn from the lowest setting and the rear about 3-4. Can still go lower.

I just hate that the KW HAS lowers the back more than the front.

It's adjustable. Whatever pictures you're seeing with the rear looking lower than the front is because the installer/owner wanted it adjusted that way. Hell, you could have the back jacked up like a funny car if you wanted to.

Not sure if this has been answered somewhere but do the comfort, sport, sport + settings still work?? Much difference in comfort mode between stock and this system?

If you bottom out both fronts and rears you'll get the reverse rake. Wheel gap and distance from fender to ground are essentially all the same on my setup.

All settings still work as you retain EDC and OEM struts.

I only really drive on Sport / Sport + and they feel very similar to OEM M5 Competition settings.

I guess that's the route I'll go then. Have wheels on order and I'll want to lower for sure before mounting them. Thanks for the info.

Any comments on HANDLING, BODY ROLL, and RIDE?

Thank you so much

No It would never hit bump stops. I couldn't tell you about handling since I was mostly in traffic on the way home. I might drive the car this weekend, so will give feedback then.

I feel like the front of the M5 HR was stiffer than the M550i. I feel like overall the M550i rides better. I will confirm that when I drive the car more.

Not compromised at all but leaves something to be desired

Was quoted 500$ for install, is this ok?
Does it void warranty?
