Reach out to ACG Automotive at 858-633-1017. I bought a set of Carbon Pads from them and have had them on the car for several weeks now w/o issues, dust or noise.

I would say they are similar in terms of dust and quietness; these ACG pads have a better pedal feel and no fade.

All still good with the brake pads? Did you install or have them installed? I have the dreaded squeal and am hoping a change in pads will solve the problem. Thx.

All good with the pads. Installed at Indy shop.

All good with the pads. Installed at Indy shop.
The rear pads I received were improperly manufactured so that the brake pad wear sensors are not able to be installed.

Of course this was not noticed by the technician until he went to actually install the rear pads. I timed the installation of the dust free pads to coincide with the installation of my summer rims so… No backing out at that point.

For now the new rear pads are installed and the sensors tied up. I am still waiting for a response from ACG to understand how this will be resolved, hopefully without me having to eat the additional labor for a swap. I'm assuming at some point I will receive correctly manufactured rear brake pads but don't feel as though I should be eating additional labor cost over this…

Do you know if this is apparent from looking at the pads, or only when trying to install? (mine are on the way...)

It's possible they sent two identical pads for each of the rears as one should have come with a noticeably deeper sensor notch which works with the OEM sensor.

Hopefully they resolve this matter for you.

Keep us posted.

Just checked with my installer on these, and the sensor needs to be installed on the inside pad on the carrier before the rear caliper is mounted.

How did you get this resolved? Installer had same issue so had the old rear pads put back on.

I recommend calling ACG and they will walk you through it. They were very helpful. However, they said something to the effect of - you need to think outside the box. That being the case, seems like some sort of instructions or guidance should be included when rear pads are shipped.
