Guess mom never taught you that if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing. Can't imagine posting your comment.
What? Now people can't post their opinion because someone might get offended? Where you part of the march this past weekend?

Lol damn some salty ass folks in here! HRE wheels are about as played out and overdone as BBS or anything....why do people keep doing them???? because they look fucking amazing and those shits were prob 10k+!!!!!

21's are redic but the overall look of the f90 is underwhelming to say the least, these wheels and just about any body add-on/mod would help.

If you find yourself asking why Uber expensive exclusive wheels on any car = you're getting old. Lol. Lighten up.

I think it looks nice as well. I've yet to see a set of P101 or S101 that cheapen anything, unless they're some flashy red or pink color. The styling suits the car well.

The M5 looks great! Usually the HREs would work well but it looks a bit small for this M5. I guess the M5 has a lot of presence.

Seeing some butt hurt on this thread lol

Aside from that nonsense, I'd like to know how they got the car lower. Did they cut springs or photoshop the immense gap out. Jesus, this car sits like my truck, I'm dying over here.

To my knowledge there are no springs available yet. I spoke with H&R 2 weeks ago and they estimated 2-3 months

Makes the car look dated imo because the design is so common now.

If the OEM wheels were polished and ferric grey instead of the current combo using black I would vote for them.

I do find it very interesting how individuals feel that the OEM manufacturer should design accessory items like wheels to their own individual taste (and somehow also be able to match the individual taste of all other buyers at the same time as well) .

As a case in point.. the wheels that you like on your F80... were declared as being HORRIBLE by many many bimmerposters (many of them making this declaration well in advance of seeing the dang things in person!)
Point well taken and BMW was smart enough to allow an alternative wheel on the F80 for those who don't like the 666 wheels. I am one of those guys who has to like the whole package and the current F90 wheels are not doing much for me. OTOH, the E63s looks very nice and has good wheels. I will be checking that out soon.

Agree. Though I'm not huge of these wheels from a stylistic point of view, the offsets are on-point.

Off the soap box, give it time and the aftermarket (including HRE) will help shape a wheel style that suits this car. Everyone clearly has fatigue with this design since it's been beaten to death, especially on the F8x platform.
HRE have been around for 40 years. They obviously have built up a brand following, and can charge that much not just for the marketing, but the quality. And let's not forget that even BBS has its lesser wheels made in China (last time I check). But, I think that we can agree that this design may not be for everyone. I think that in black that they would look better. But, I also wonder if BMW came out with the same wheels as stock, how many of the people criticizing these HRE wheels, would be praising BMW for its "aggressive and tasteful wheel design"?

Wish the car was silver, but wheels look nice. Dunno why everyone is complaining...

Those are the best and most original wheels they carry IMHO. Wish theyd put it on something like this.

It will be interesting to see what folks do wheel-wise with their F90’s. I’m not a huge fan of the stock wheels but spacers and some HAS may do the trick for me.

I went with aftermarket wheels for both of my F10 M5’s (21”) and will more than likely go down that road at some point (ordering F90 in the coming weeks) as I tend to like changing the look of my car frequently.

The best part of this forum is the different tastes, likes and dislikes of owners.

I look forward to seeing this platform progress.
