Comfort boot operation

I seem to be having an issue with the comfort boot (trunk) opperatation. I wave my foot underneath the middle of the boot to break the two sensors, but nothing seems to happen!

What am I doing wrong?

Ever seen Riverdance?

Sharp central kick, pulling leg back immediately and 'voila'.

Once you get the hang of it, it is very simple. Same action to close.

Its not a waggle, its a smooth forward motion, as if you are about to kick a football slowly

Cheers guys, I think I have it figured out now!.... Its quite a quick sharp movement, and saves me looking a fool by taking it back to the dealers claiming it doesnt work!!
