F90
Hey guys, F90 non comp on stock 19" pirelli's
I have noticed the stock rebound dampening in the rear is aggressive without being bouncy; looking to soften things up for road trips tbh. I like I slight fwd rake that the F90 H&R's display above.. sort of like splitting hairs as they both look awesome Can anyone comment on which spring set (m550 H&R or F90 H&R) offer a more compliant ride. TIA |

My suggestion is to play with tire pressure before looking into lowering spring. Quote:
But, if you are not sure about how low that you want to go, KW HAS will give you a range of drop that you can play around with to your liking.

hard pirelli sidewalls that I’ve experienced in the past. I have KW coil overs w/Michelin’s on my F80 and the ride is less harsh. Do you sell springs. Which H&R is more compliant? |

Spring wise between M550iX and M5 should be similar. I've rode in Vic55 with H&R M5 spring and my local customer's with KW HAS. None on the M550iX H&R spring on F90 M5 yet. I am fine with either of them, no complaint at all. So, my guess, the M550iX spring on F90 M5 should be good also.

it was the harsh 19" Pirelli tires as I had suspected. Even at 28PSI cold, the side walls did not compress which was actually amazing. Put on stock 20"s w/MP4s and the ride's less jarring. I did check for suspension blocks - did not find any :-)

Hello,
I have a ‘19 M5C and looking to lower it, however, just the front. I’m happy with the way the rear is set up, but I’m planning to put a 10mm spacer and dropping it on H&R springs. Curious to see if anyone here has a similar set up and how does the car run afterwards? Is there a possibility of issues with the fronts having spacers and different springs to the rear? |
