Cost to Install H&R Springs

Hey,
I need help from forum members to get an estimate cost to install H&R Springs?
Is there any extra work like alignment needed? Please post what you think the labor cost should be to install? How many hours of work? Just want to check the price I was quoted. I think was a little high? Thanks.

Does take some time to have it properly done. I would say maybe about 4 hours done correctly could take a little longer. Keep in mind they do need to disassemble the rear which is the part that takes a little longer.

Mine took about 4-5 hours to have it properly done. The full back needs to be removed. I got quotes from multiple reputable shops around my area and that was the average.

Anything less than 4 and I think the shop might be rushing it. I personally like to have good work done on my car than quick work.

Forgot to add - an alignment was done for mine at the end.

It takes 4-5 hours.
Rear deck need to be removed.
Everything is DIY-able, just depends on how much skill do you have.

Ok, I get it will take 4-5 hours? What is the cost to install and do alignment? Is it $500-$1000? Please post how much it cost you at your shop? Don't have to name your shop, just how much? Thanks.

Each region have different pricing.
LA area tend to be cheaper since we have too many shop around and they will compete for pricing.

Yes, the $1000.00 is what I was quoted. I was hoping around $750.00?

So I was back at the shop today for couple of other things and I asked the tech that worked on my car how long it took him. He told me it actually took about 8 hours to do it because the full back seat needed to be removed and put back together.

I guess I got lucky during my quote and didn't that that into consideration.

I know someone else was quoted about 6 hours plus alignment pushing the total near $1K as well. These are numbers from some of the elite shops in the north NJ area.

Ps. Another thing to look out for

"Rear Restraint System Malfunction"

There have been some F90's that trigger this error once the suspension is lowered - unfortunately mine was one of them. The part to fix this is on a 2-3 week back order so I'll be getting this error for a couple of weeks before it comes in. It will be covered under warranty.
