Tire and rim protection- good price?

Would love to hear what others have paid for tire and rim protection.

Thank you!

I don’t buy it. For both my F10 leases I have had one blowout, tire only no damage to the rim. At the going rate of $2,500 - $3,000 you’d need three pot hole hits that take out the tire and rim.

I had a cracked rim and two tires replaced in the last 6 months on my 550. Some of these NJ potholes are just brutal. Not sure I want to go without although it's possible there is less chance for rim damage on non run flats?

I was quoted $2500.

Run flats are the worst. My neighbor had an Audi with run flats and blew out something like 8 tires. Regular tires are much more forgiving.

Between $2500 and $3000. Just make sure you get an aftermarket one through the dealer rather than the bmw one as the bmw one only covers stock rims and bmw approved winter setup. Anything aftermarket is not covered.
