CAN message error in 6WB
Hello all,
I'd like to ask you if any of you have ever seen a rather strange DTC: B7F68C - Instrument Panel: Selector level indication, shift point indicator, CAN messages faulty. ISTA fault description: The graphics board in the KOMBI detected erroneous message from the transmission control unit or engine control unit. Background of how thigs are in my car: Car is pre-LCI, with retrofitted 6WB and NBT EVO. All is coded to the VIN (no emulators in the way). Zeitkriterium is moved to 2017/11. Just to point out that everything works as expected, I see the gear indicator in the cluster and all. In ISTA it always shows that fault is not present, but when I try to clear it it always comes back. As I mentioned, all works well, it's just annoying me that I always see it in ISTA. I was thinking of flashing the transmission unit to newer i-step level, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea with different zeitkriterium, etc. Any advice would be much appreciated. Hi, nope. But I have a suspicion that this error is triggered by transmission ECU going off too soon or something similar...
Everything works from functional perspective, and as mentioned I just see it in ISTA all the time, so I guess I will leave it like that. Maybe I will update Transmission SW to later PsZD, and see if it improves... |

Dont change zeiketrum, then edit FA original + 6WB.
Code HU and Cluster
