APEX | Photoshoot Volunteer thread + Survey.

Edit: This Survey has concluded. Thanks for your feedback!

Please note: this survey is for forged wheels only. We’ll be working on adding flow formed options in the future, but this survey does not include those wheel designs.

Thanks again to everyone who has already provided feedback and/or volunteered for a test-fitment!

-Tom and the APEX Team

---- Update----

This survey has concluded, but we'd appreciate your help with wheel development specifically for the M5.

Paging F90 M5 owners in the Bay area! We're looking for volunteers for photoshoots that will help launch new fitments for our Sprint wheel line! Volunteers will get copies of the photos (if a photoshoot is involved), a discount on a set of future APEX wheels, and APEX goodies/swag. The shoots will be located in or around the bay area near our Pleasanton office. Volunteers must be local!!! If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out and submit our online form (no robots allowed!).

We're looking to validate fitments and gather brake scan data specifically for cars with the factory CCB brakes. We’ve already scanned and completed a testfit of a car with the base steel brakes, but we need your help to optimize CCB fitments for this chassis.

Here's an idea of what a typical test fitment and brake scan looks like:

If you'd like to take an inside look at what the photoshoots involve, check out this behind the scenes look at a shoot focused on an E46 endurance race car we shot earlier this year:

We're excited to launch all-new diameters and designs but we need your help. Let us know if you have any questions as well!

Apex does make great wheels. Look forward to having them available for the f90 platform.

Would love to see the VS-5RS in a 21” setup bet they would look killer. Took the survey and will watch this thread for updates.

I’m very interested in these wheels. I would love to see more photos of different angles where we can gauge the fitment better. I like an aggressive fitting wheel that doesn’t look like it needs a spacer. I’m hoping you guys make the fitment perfect.

You can check out the full album for this shoot here, but it definitely is not a spacer-free fitment. https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAt2F2

We brought a F90 in to scan the brakes and suspension but had this set of Supra wheels to test on the car as well.

The specs are:

APEX Wheels Forged VS-5RS in Satin Bronze

F: 19x9.5" ET10* with 265/35-19
R: 19x11" ET28* with 305/30-19
Falken RT660

Front wheel is GR Supra 19x9.5" ET25 with 15mm spacer.

Rear wheel is GR Supra 19x11" ET40 with 12mm spacer.

All stock car

M5-specific wheels will definitely be coming, but we need to bring in a local M5 that has the CCBs equipped to scan those brakes as well. If anyone is local to the Bay Area in California and willing to stop by our office for a few hours with their CCB-equipped M5, we'd love to bring in your car.

You can submit a response to this form here if you're interested. Volunteers get a discount on APEX wheels along with a swag bag of APEX goodies and photos of their car if a shoot takes place.
