buying a used 2007 bmw 335i

i'm going to buy a used bmw 335i soon. the craigslist posting has been there for quite some time now. i have driven it once but he did not want my initial offer so i walked away. now after more and more reviews of other cars i came to realize his car was too expensive and so was my initial offer.

what worries me the most is that he has not been able to sell his 335i for awhile. I would say he has been trying to sell for more than a month now. Is there anything i should worry about? Or is there anything I should look out for that other people found on the car that I didn't? Is there a checklist of what I should be on the look out for? Thanks again for all the comments hopefully!

would take to enthusiast shop and pay them to inspect it. this is of course after you are done negotiating and stuff, don't want to waste both your times if the price isn't right.

there was a thread on this, try a search on buying used. really good tips there.

A PPI (pre-purchase inspection) should cost anywhere from $130-200 depending on the location. Go some place very familiar with BMWs.
