repair choices help
A chunk of concrete highway gouged my hood with a mild dent. I'm getting an autobody estimate but he says the hood is aluminum so can't be repaired and a new hood is needed. I really don'twant to replace the whole hood for less than 2 inches of damage.
Anyone think this can be repaired to a reasonable level? My dent guy says he may be able to get rid of the dent but then it will need to be painted. |

Sorry to see. I don't know...take it to a paintless dent repair shop for an opinion. If they can pull the dent, a VERY skilled shop can repaint that area and blend it in to the rest of the paint. Otherwise just go for a new hood.
