Sensor Placements - Escort MAX Ci 360
Has anyone installed the Escort Max Ci 360 on their F90? Would love to see where your laser jammer sensors were mounted on the front and back.

The Max Ci 360 is one heckuva radar detector, while the laser jamming performance is... well... debatable. They have made improvements but it is still not as capable as the ALP laser jammer.
To answer your question; I'd ask Escort for optimal placement or just use the guide from the ALP website. ** EDIT/UPDATE ** check out the escort forum for more specific support: http://escortradarforum.com/forums/f...splay.php?f=70 or rdforum.org: https://www.rdforum.org/index.php?forums/22/ ** EDIT 2 ** Two escort radar forum members are itching to get their hands on a 6-head laser box (4 front + 2 rear), users Dom and Batman have been active in their pursuit. User Batman may be on to something: http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=17361 and user Dom seems to be checking in on them: http://escortradarforum.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=17681 I hope they come out with this, if price is not really an issue, this would provide an unbelievable all-in-one setup. In my opinion Escort has nailed it when it comes to User Interaction/Control. One controller for laser and radar, with the potential for integration in to the infotainment system via https://www.midcityengineering.com/ There is NO product out right now, but with enough influence I imagine that Mid-City would start poking around to develop a product for BMW. I kind of like the "all-in-one" aspect of things. I have Blinder plus V1 setups now on my cars and it's like a jet cockpit with managing alerts and speed traps.

This is the exact system I’m thinking about going with. Is there any chance you can take pictures of the interior and how you have it set up? I’d like to keep the interior of my car is clean as possible.

Here are some pictures. The Alp system had to be programmed via usb to stay at full dark as it was really bright and annoying with its led.
The Escort had a ton of new features added and also needed a bunch of fine tuning through their app to get it to work like the previous generation 9500ci. The radar in the mirror was a bit annoying also at first, but now Im used to it. |
