As I have been cooking and grilling over the years, the natural progression is to create my own Marinades. ��
This one requires a lot of ingredients but is sooooo worth it!
I don't really measure I just go by my preference. So you can season to taste:

For these 10 Chicken Thighs:
12oz OJ
Garlic salt
Onion Powder
A tsp or so of the following Dry:
Thyme, Pepper Mix, Allspice, Cinnamon, Parsley, Nutmeg, Cloves.
1 Tbspn sugar
Qtr cup of Olive Oil

Combine all ingredients and shake vigorously in a bottle! Pour over chicken in gallon sized zip lock bags.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Now you can grill, bake or pan fry to your desired doneness. ����*��

WHAT??? How can this be Jerk Chicken without a fresh Yellow/Orange Scotch Bonnet Pepper in the recipe???

First time in my life having Culver's. I pass by this place every day 4 times a day dropping my daughter off and picking her up to/from school. I've been saying for years I'll give it a try one day... especially since the line is always so long. Today was finally that day. My verdict? It was ok....

Pizza!

Usual crust with 50/50 Tipo 00 and semolina rimacinata

Fresh basil, lots of it
Dried rosemary, oregano and thyme
Salt and pepper
EVOO
sauce
fresh mozz
red onion
pepperoni
shaved parmesan

Served with arugula dressed with EVOO and balsamic glaze. Grapes for dessert.

Not a fan. I like a nice thick juicy burger, not one that has been run over with a 10 ton roller and then cooked to the point of being crunchy.

They do have decent shakes though.

I see a few potential situations here:

1) You didn't go to Au Cheval, you instead drunkenly walked into Burger King and were so wasted you thought it was Au Cheval
2) You went to Au Cheval, ordered a burger, then threw the burger in the trash, dug it out, then threw it in the street, picked it up, then threw it in a toilet, fished it out, then sat down to eat it.
3) You stepped on a gravitational anomaly which sent you into an alternate universe where Au Cheval makes shitty burgers. You ate shitty burger, then somehow found your way back to our world without realizing you had ever left, your only memory having eaten from shitty Au Cheval.
4) Glitch in the matrix

This bums me out because my bell pepper plants didnt take this year (and stuffed peppers was one of my fav things to do with them) they got choked out by my brandywine tomato plants, on the flip I guess my tomato plants went nuts.

I haven't had it in a LONG time. I wonder if something's changed. I'm gonna have to go again soon to find out for myself.

And it's not just a Chicago thing where we don't have good taste or something. Au Cheval routinely makes the list for one of the best burgers in the country. In fact Food Network ranks it THE best burger in the country.
