Noelle Tune Before/After
I've read all the posts and there certainly are some very vocal haters that dismiss Noelle. I spoke to a couple of people that had the tune and spoke to Ron who is in charge of the North American Noelle tuning before deciding to go ahead with it. I was informed that they torque/power limitations in the tune are rather conservative in lower gears and full tq/hp aren't applied until traction isn't as much of a concern. As a semi-professional motorcycle racer who races factory Superbikes w complex electronics, I'm familiar w the way my electronics crew guy would have to be precise w power delivery on the Superbike...there's just no way to release power in a controlled manner without being very difficult to drive. This appears to be what Noelle has out of the box. After the tune, there is more power down in lower gears, but the true power increase isn't felt until 70mph or so where there is a HUGE difference.
I bought a Dragy and did a few before runs, but being in San Diego I don't have a great spot to do a lot of 60-130 runs where there's no traffic. I'll post up the before/after comparisons once I get a chance to do a couple of runs after the tune. However, I belong to a group of exotic car enthusiasts who did a rally out to Sedona this weekend and I can say without reservation that the Noelle tune is top notch. Usually I take my Ferrari 458 out, but we were turning it into a road trip and the M5 was going to be the better choice...so I got it tuned last week. Our group is almost all Ferrari 488s, F8s, Pistas, Lambo Hurracan Performante, Aventadors, McLaren 720s, P1s etc and the only car that was faster in a 60mph+ run was the P1. 80-180mph was unbelievably fast and it was pulling hard at 180 before I hit traffic. Previously, I was about neck and neck w the 488/Huracan/Aventador. Afterwards, there wasn't anything out there that could out-accelerate my car from 60+ after the tune. At the after party last night there was a steady stream of the rally drivers coming by and asking wtf was in my car...and these guys' cars are all top supercars. I realize the vocal haters will be out shortly with skepticism, but when I get home I'll get some numbers from the dragy to post up. The slower speeds aren't really the strong point of the tune due to the progressive nature of the way they dial in power as traction is less of a worry, but higher speeds where you'd be at on a track like Willow Springs, Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, Fontana etc would be it's sweet spot accelerating HARD from 60mph+. I'm really happy with it. As everyone on the rally is shipping their cars back to San Diego and hopping in their planes/helicopters, my wife and I will be cruising back on a road trip w our 2 puppies in the back and the massage seats doing their job with a huge grin on my face. |

Being from San Diego as well I'd love to see the car. I'm running a JB4 and there is noticeable power depending on the map chosen. We should link up and we can test them against each other

This is getting to be an interesting thread. I am a believer in the Noelle tune because of the work he had done on the F10 and the forum members that were consumers of their products. BTW, I do wish that there were more ways and locations to get the tune done.

For some reason this Noelle tune has too many of these types of accounts coming to the forum, then claiming they have this tune, or want to get this tune and etc.... again that's why I called you out. All other stuff you mentioned I could care less about. New account, right away posting about Noelle, smells like another load of B.S |

It's nearly impossible to truly tune a car or motorcycle for the track/real world in a garage. I've spent several hundred thousand dollars on dedicated crew chiefs and electronics guys to come to the race track with me on race/testing weekends for that reason. When I'm back from my trip I'll do my best to give some real world results that are objective and you guys can make up your own mind...or continue with whatever you've been doing before 👍 |

Quarter mile times and 60-130 times are all that's going to matter. Feeling faster won't cut it. The multiple proven legitimate tuning options out there, combined with shady dyno charts and claiming 850HP with a flash tune have sounded a lot like a scam. We need real data.

Glad to hear your enjoying the Noelle tune! I have had mine for about 7 months and I absolutely love it. I drive with a lot of exotic cars as well and I am one of the fastest cars in the group. You will notice there are definitely faster 60-130 times from other F90 tuners for sure but to me the real world performance is incredible. Enjoy it.

It's no conspiracy, Noelle is active on the forums and they make fake accounts to market their own garbage product. We would know if it was the real deal because everyone would be running it instead of bootmod and they would be posting stats from Draggy or from one of the many 1/4 mile tracks.

I been very curious about the Noelle tune but no places to install near Miami and almost no viable way to confirm their claims. Would love to be proven wrong tho!

Well this is my first post, and wouldn't you know it, it's about Noelle. Well, I don't have the same things to say as others before me. I have owned several fast cars in my life, but my M5 comp is my first ever BMW (it will not be my last!!). I purchased it in mid August, and after seeing the Noelle stuff, made an appointment with the facility in Pontiac, Michigan. I made an appointment for 9/12, and picked it up 9/19 (was in Chicago for work). Around 9/14, I found this site, and of course I started feeling sick after reading what was a lot talk by those with a Noelle tune, and no action. After picking my car up, and driving it home, I was disappointed to say the least. The "butt dyno" as I read it being called (hilarious btw), did not register joy. I felt NO difference 0-60, and a mild to moderate difference 60-130. So, my dragy showed up today, and although it's supposed to rain in Grand Blanc, Michigan tomorrow, Thursday is supposed to be sunny. I will absolutely share my times then. If I'm disappointed, as I expect, I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake I did. Although, I really only have myself to blame as I should have done more research.
