Go to the App Store and search for BMW connected.

By the way, my 3D remote view has always worked although I use it infrequently.

Exactly the same on MY2020 M5C with iDrive 7. Took it in for a software update at the dealers when 11 days old. Worked once there. Took it out and has never worked again in the 4 weeks I've had it. 😩

Soft restart your head unit by holding volume button down for 30 seconds. Update your BMW apps and services in your connected drive menu. Let the car sleep. Log out of your app and back in. Then recheck. This should help

Mine has worked since delivery. The refreshed view takes a while to load. I believe you only get three views per day.

Finally got my car in for the 1200 mile service (thanks Minnesota winter!). After an argument about account security and the dangers of password sharing, they finally agreed to ask permission from BMW to upgrade the car’s software. I am happy to report that Remote View is now working for the first time ever.

Also, my car was subject to the transmission wiring harness recall. My harness was showing damage and had to be replaced. Took 3 days to get the part.

Now it is Spring and time to finally open her up!

So the mirrors cannot be folded when you want to get a remote 3D view. It might say it will unfold them but it won't. They have to be out. Secondly, sometimes the initial request doesn't go through but when you try again you see a pop-up telling you which step is happening. That 2nd try has worked for me.

It didn't work at first for me after first trying then started working about an hour later.
