I don't like frozen paint. It's a texture issue for me, so I didn't have a choice of colors. Would have loved that dark green metallic, but happier with Brands Hatch than I thought I'd be.

Frozen looks dull on the rear of the car but the front is super aggressive. The regular paint looks beautiful as it shines in the sunlight! Such a tough decision haha |

Also not a fan of frozen paints, but something about the frozen green just fits the car well.

I do not think you can go wrong with any of them, I say this never owning a car with matte paint. The matte Brands Hatch is tight. Everything about it, paint, wheels, brake calipers all of it. Perfect.

If you're going frozen you MUST PPF otherwise if you get a scratch the entire panel
needs to be repainted. Going non frozen it's optional however, with this type of car a ppf is good to protect it for the long term either way.

After mulling on this topic, I’ve ‘settled’ on the deep green since it’s bespoke to the model. And I think the green would go real well with the gold trim. I’ve always lusted after the Porsche deep greens and this would be similar albeit in a larger car. Just my opinion though.

I think the gold calipers will go better with the trim……

I am having a similar issue. My car is in the “scheduled for production” phase, and I choose the frozen green option. I have been told I can still opt for the non frozen BHG.
I am super concerned about the matte maintanence issues. I am not opposed to putting a protective film on the car, and I do think the green fits the car better than the BHG due to the bronze trim… never owned a matte car before. Also I am in FL, and have been told matte cars get VERY HOT in the sun. Please advise. |
