My car has no paint color label under hood?

This is a stupid question, but where is the label with the outer color code on the F83? I thought they were on the strut tower on the drivers side under the hood, but I am either blind or it is not there.

Did you look in the drivers side door jamb?

I think SO is B50

Thanks. I do see a sticker on the door jam that has the B50/2 code on it along with the VIN and production month. I thought that there was one under the hood with the color name and code. Remember having one on my E36 and E46. Maybe the F83 does not have one there.

Ive only seen Individual colors get the plaque with the color name under the hood.

You don't get a plaque in monument park in Yankee Stadium just for being an average player? Why would you expect a plaque on your car when everyone knows what color it is?

I would assume that plaque costs at least $5000 nowadays.

bmw is so erratic with their color info. sometimes it's door jam, sometimes its under the hood. weird.

If you order an Individual, the paint code and name is on a plaque in the engine bay as others have stated. If you order a non-individual color option, IE like AW, MW, etc, they will appear in the drivers side door jam. That's typically how BMW does it.

Thanks. First time I have not seen one under the hood. Both my E36 and E46 had one even with the "boring" color of Titansilber.
