A couple of thoughts, if you're going black, why spend the money on HREs? Part of the beauty with them is the finish options. Their options to do different colors and finishes on different parts of the wheel make them special, IMO.

I had S101s on my F10 and they are the softest wheels I've ever owned, I bent 2 of them and I've never bent a wheel before or after them.

BBS are iconic wheels, but some people don't like the more classic look. I personally appreciate BBS and HRE for different reasons. That said, my next set of aftermarket wheels in that price range will be BBS.

Good problems to have in our world today!

Well, I can get the BBR FIR so close to the same price, but I can't get them in gloss black, w custom offset. That's the main issue.

Also, I love gloss black. I have gloss red custom calipers, so the gloss black and red pop, see pics below from my old M4. That's the look I like.

The only other option I would consider is satin black, or MAYBE some sort of silver, or gold but now the red calipers would look horrible w anything but black.

I have the HRE P101SC's on my car 20x10 front and 20x11 rears with 285/295 front and rear. Love the wheels and get compliments all the time. They are finished in satin black.

Did you lower at all?

I have not yet. Debating between Eibach and H&R springs.

Beautiful car and wheels. I'm debating on 20's or 21's. Did you consider 21's at all and if so; why did you go with 20's?

Thanks

Thank you! I bought these used, but still didn't consider 21s at all. Couldn't tell you why I didn't. In hindsight I would consider them, but prob would still have gotten 20s. Just need to lower the car a little to close the fender gap.

Thanks for the reply. I like to go fast but dont race on a daily. I attend two drag race events a year. My plan was to sell the stockers to make some money back. But then again if I go 21's, I'd like to keep the 20's and throw some R888Rs on them.
