Stage 2 93 OTS map i did 10.4xs in 132.5-133 range -350 DA

I never ran stage 1 final OTS map since I have downpipes, but when i did run the early beta stage 1 before i got DPs it went 10.63 @ 131.

What tires where you running and what was the outside temp? I did a few short LC today with temps in the low 50's and I couldn't get the Michelin tires to stick.

Im thinking if I didn't get as much slippage these numbers would be much better. I'm running Stage 1

does it work for all model years? 2018, 2019, 2020? i thought one model year had an ECU with different public/private signing keys in the firmware.

Send a screenshot of your Software IDs to support@protuningfreaks.com in the Subject 2020 F90 M5 and let them know you're sending your IDs for info when your bootloader in question gets the support from BM3 unlock.

proTUNING Freaks is heavily working on this !

Im assuming that u have to have the software for bootmod3 since your saying to send software ID.... I would purchase bootmod3 if they have the software to support the 2020 model year. I wouldn't mind being a early adopter! Can they do back end flash using the jb4?

No need to purchase anything but a OBD Cable, visit bootmod3.net while connected to the car, first tab Vehicle and the Software IDs will show up

They do not make backend flashes or support jb4 (this is up to the individual to work out as it takes too much to change settings on the jb4 end, im sure Terry will help you)

I have a 2020 M5 as well. Best way would be to leave your car at the hands of BM3 team for a day or two.

Luckily I'm local to them so I'll be leaving the car to them once this cornavirus blows over. Once they develop support for 2020, they'll release it for everyone.

I was able to do a few 60-130 runs today on Stage 1 e30. This was my best what do we think? I'll be going to Stage 2 e30 next week after DP's get installed. Will be interesting to see the improvement.

Finally this thing is starting to move. I could never get into the 2's with the stock car.

Even had a little slippage with this run

The Michelin's are a help. The tire patch isn't, not with that much power—295s on the rear (requiring a 285 front to ~preserve the stock rotational circumference delta) can deal with it.

Tire pressure and temp are important, too—do you know what they were during the run?

I def didn't warm up the tires that's why there was a little slippage. The pressure might also be a little high 34F and 38R. 100% I'm going bigger on my next set.

Also this was on little to no adaptation. These OTS maps are smooth as butter but I'm sure there is still some adapting that needs to happen. Well done Bootmod3 this was well worth the wait. Can't wait for stage 2

This car is rear biased so your tire pressures are reversed at best.

Adaptation is definitely a thing but your traction-bound in my opinion; more adaptation will only increase the power--that'll help in 2nd and 3rd when you've hopefully already hooked up but you'll waste more time slipping (or worse, hopping) on the launch.

What's your average ambient temp?
