This video was "teased" by Corvette earlier this year.
You can clearly see the front wheels spinning away in the snow.

If they make a ZR1 hybrid, it will probably beat the latest M5.
With Z06 having a real life price of 200k, I don’t even want to know what one would have to pay for that mentioned ZR1. At this price point, I would much rather go get a Huracan.

I dont know where you're getting those numbers since its not even built yet, but I was talking ZR1 anyway, not Z06. An AWD ZR1 would be insane. Here's what the current rear wheel drive does:

“The new Z06 outperforms the C7 ZR1 at 186 mph in terms of downforce. At 212 mph, the C7 ZR1 was creating over 1,000 pounds of downforce.”

Which numbers? Read my post again. What do you think the real life market price will be for the new ZR1?

Yes, your estimate of $200k.
It "could" be correct, but how are we to know ?
There is not even a confirmation from GM they are building it.

My point is IF they build this, it will be a very fast car.

Like I said, read again… The 200k I mentioned is the current market price for a new Z06 (not ZR1).

Ok, well I live 5 miles from the 2nd largest Corvette Dealer in North America. (Macmulkin Chevrolet). So if they do, I will know that answer.

I know you keep mentioning Z06, but I'm referencing the ZR1.
The Z06 will be much higher priced. It's a moot point for me.

No offense to any vette owners here but I have owned one and only one. I have never in my life had a car with so many problems. When I brought it up in the corvette club they chuckled and said "this must be your fist corvette "

No Chevy will ever have the build quality of an M5 and if you are going to pay the markup on a zr1 you will be well over an M5. JMHO

I don't know anyone that would claim Corvette build quality is anything better than atrocious…. I shut the door of my c5 vette and couldn't help but think it sounds like a 1950's rusted out pickup truck. Build quality has improved a bit over the years, but still pretty awful, especially by m5 standards.

I still love it though! Cam'd/supercharged and always down for some low brow thrills!

Agreed with the improvement. The c7 was still pretty poor, but I drove C8 for a couple of days and it isn't that bad. I would still say even the Gxx 3 series build quality is a bit better, but it's definitely not a total economy car interior anymore either.
