You guys are all building a case for one not to get a sport Rolex: Aside from not being available at ADs, everyone is sporting one. It's literally two strikes against the brand.

I love my Hulk. I have never seen another when wearing it either. My Audemars even more so. Now, my Panerais, I see tons of those.

Yeah, don't think I saw an Audemars in the wild... I just need to man up and get a Royal Oak (non Offshore). Love the Offshore which I found for my dad, but I'm lusting over a nice SS in 41.

That makes a lot of sense.....no dealers have them but everyone has one?

Your argument would be relevant if this was a Rolex forum, which it is not. It's an M5 forum with an overwhelming amount of people with sport Rolex watches. The fact that so many people are buying sport Rolex watches creates a demand that the brand will not fill, hence the (intentional) lack of AD inventory. It does not change the fact that there's an overwhelming amount of people who have them.

LOL. One of the watches stolen was a gold sub. A guy was coming in that day to pick it up, but the thieves got it. Well as the story says, all of them were recovered, and Larry (owner) called the guy to see if he still wanted the watch. He said that the guy said "HELL YES I still want it! That watch has some story to it now."

Larry told me when they came in they went straight for the Rolex counter, smashed the glass, took all of the datejusts and the Sub. Obviously these guys didn't really know Rolex that well, because if they would have hit the display case behind the counter where he has a Paul Newman Daytona on display, it might have been a bigger payday.
