I just installed this version yesterday. I now have no audio coming from my radio at all and I don’t even hear a noise when I depress my turn signal.

Anyone have this problem? Anyone have any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this? I have already tried pressing the radio button down to reset idrive but that has not worked.

I also will not get audio if I get a text through Apple CarPlay. I won’t get the read back of the text.

Any suggestions?

Disconnect the battery and leave for a short time and reconnect? May be worth a try?

Sure idrive fully reset? I think it pressing the knob for about a minute and continue to hold for 2-3 to fully reset, you’ll hear the unit make some noises whilst it goes through the reboots

Other than that if it were me I’d take it to the dealer , get the issue logged with them.
They might try flashing it again. At least they can get head office involved if necessary.

When I turned off my iDrive, I did not hold it for as long as you have suggested so I will start with that.

If that does not work, off to the dealer.

If your suggestion works, I will let you know !
