Hi all,

Heard some rattling inside my front dome light whenever I went over bumps. Opened it up and found the object in image attached. After a reverse google image search, seems like it’s some version of a flat metal spring. Everything in the dome light works properly. Worried this may impact the emergency contact system up there.

Can anyone provide guidance on this?
