Moving light after 6k RPM
Hi guys,
I have seen in many videos that some cars have moving light at the RPM dash after 6K rpm. Mine doesn't do that at all, I'm wondering how can we switch to this. On the video below it start around 20 sec, Thank you |

Mine does the ascending yellow lights after 6k rpm like in the video and then they all flash simultaneously when you are at redline. Maybe it only does it in M mode? or just a US thing?

I have a 6MT but don't get the Christmas lights and actually want them. Is there an enable or disable setting?

I have asked my dealer, they even didn't understand my request... I have read the manual guide and they don't mention any set up because it should be Christmas tree from stock. After watching many videos i find out some has and some hasn't.
thanks |

Guys, it's easy: the lights appear only in manual shifting mode of DTC. I don't know if it's the same for manual gearbox though.
Also, if you have your HUD in M mode, you will see the shifting lights on there too. Hope I got the question right. |

I know now why I didn't have the Christmas Tree... It doesn't work on the dash if you have the M view on HUD. After changing to normal view, it was illuminated Thread done!

Yes but not like the dash, it just flashing when you have to change the gear. Its not progressive like the dash does. I prefer to keep the M HUD even though.

Thank you for clarification, I too prefer the M HUD as it keeps my eyes on the road. Funny I never noticed the rev lights flashing on the windscreen even though I have noticed the light gray barely noticeable rpm progressive bar graph.

One thing they should improve, is to let us the possibility to choose the color of this gray bar but M HUD is great even though |
