MmMode Tach in HUD when using M buttons on the steering wheel
Hi,
Is there a way to program or set the M mode tachometer in the hud to be displayed after pushing the M1 or M2 buttons by the steering wheel? The M mode tachometer in the hud is not showing up after I push the M1 or M2 buttons by the steering wheel Thank You |

Yes, it seems that I need to press the M mode button by the shifter in order to get the M tach in the hud to be displayed. The tach won’t appear in the hud just by using the M1 or M2 buttons by the steering wheel. Weird that the tach doesn’t automatically get displayed in the hud unless the M Mode button next to the shifter is engaged

It's a typical example of "fixing" something that wasn't remotely broken in the first place. To me, the M-mode button is a complete waste of time and even directly opposes the reason for M1 and M2's existence... so you can select preset driving modes without averting your gaze from the road/track. Instead, now I have to fumble around a slick surface to engage an M-mode... and W(hy)TF aren't M-modes programmable as part of M1 and M2... aghhhhhhh!! Yes, I'm vexed... assernine change that is nothing less than regression. |
