What would you do?
I took my car in for the break in service. Got it back and every inch of the interior and exterior was covered in a mist of grease! The dash, displays, seats, everything! I spent the entire day cleaning it because I don't trust them to do it right. On top of this they "could not reproduce" a rattle that is non stop, want me to come back for the roof trim that's falling off, didn't reserve a loaner car for me when I made the appointment 6 weeks in advance to get one and didn't even tell me when the car was finished.
The grease doesn't show well in the photos, but you can see the paper towel after one wipe of the from of the seat... The dealership is really convenient, about a mile away. Have any of you had issues, talked to the manager or gone with a different advisor and had dramatically different results? I'm not sure if I should just start going somewhere else or let them know how much they suck and hope something changes. Since they messed up this bad on an oil change I'm afraid to let them touch the car again.

I would get on their website, look up the service manager and send him an email with the pictures you posted here. I would also cc the general manager of the dealership. It's amazing how responsive people will be when you get their boss involved. This is ridiculous! Make them earn your business back.
I might go as far as saying something along the lines of "I am a prominent member of Bimmerpost and BMW CAA and they are shocked at the way I was treated!" |

This is why I stayed there and stared at them while they did the break-in on mine.

This happened to me at Rockville BMW for my break-in service. I had a gash on my dahs with grease all over. I complained to BMW USA and they basically told me it's between you and the dealership. Rockville is a horrible dealership and I will never go back. I would just clean it up yourself and take it to another dealer. I'm lucky to have several dealerships nearby.
