Brake Fluid Flush on F90.....

This is the second time I have done this (50k miles) and the first time I did not have ISTA and had not seen the videos where folks activate the antilock brake pump to flush that part.

My copy of ISTA did not show that process. I have version 4.32.15.

Is that part of the proper service?

At 50k miles my brake pads are at about 3/8 inch all around ? 1/2 worn?

The fluid was much cleaner than after the first time I did it.

Oh well, at least it's done.

Mike

Definitely interesting... so if you follow the steps here you don't have this menu for bleeding the dsc unit (really only needs to be done when replacing the dsc unit but it would activate it to get whatever fluid is out of it possibly. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o7XsCMqZXw0

I haven't played around with it in a bit, another option would be to just go into the tree find the dsc module and see if it has an activation for diagnostics in there.
