Is that M5 really stock, except for intakes? I’m surprised at the performance without a tune.

no tune? does seem a little suspect considering the weight difference. would like to see what the vette is actually putting out to the wheels.

The C8 Z06 has great HP, but only 470ish torque at the crank. It’s down around low 400s from the videos I’ve seen on the dyno.

High rpm limit of 8600 allows fantastic horsepower and short gearing multiply torque. Z06 should beat a stock M5, both driven equally and professional test results back that up with a 10.6 quarter at 131+.

I purchased a new corvette and it was plagued with so many problems that I swore to myself that I would never in my life buy another. When I complained to other people in the corvette club, they chuckled and replied "this must be your first corvette" which said it all.

Now my M5C? You'd have to pry it from my cold dead fingers.

Paced one on the interstate. Starting at about 80, I followed. The Z06 very, very slowly pulled ahead. I have a Racechip, and have no idea if the Z06 was stock.
