Lowering Springs for LCI M5
I’m expecting delivery of my ‘21 M5 CP next month and I’m considering changing the springs to lower the car modestly. Is there a consensus on the best kit for handling/ride combination and does having the CP obviate the need for the kit because of the lowering that is included it that package? Also are spacers a benefit other than appearance? All that said, I’m generally of the opinion that the factory spends thousands of hours fine tuning the suspension so the idea that a 3rd party can improve on their work is questionable. Thank you

About spacers, the only positive they give is the look. But I found my car drove way worse them. |

I will second the notion that a lowered suspension does not “void the warranty”. This zombie myth needs to end.

I vote Dinan. I have it on my car and it does more than lower the car -- it truly transforms the feel of the car. It makes it more firm, but still somehow that rides better than stock suspension. The car feels much more immediate. I'm quite happy with it.

My front shock leaked at 30k miles, on a totally stock suspension car, and was replaced under warranty. |
