Second DIY Oil change, boy its easy on this car.

Just quick post.....I did another oil service yesterday. Boy this car is so easy to do an oil service on. The only addition I can think of is changing the oil filter housing to the prior M5 type with the drain plug on it. I think that one should fit our car? That would make it a tad bit less messy.

Thanks for the info. I changed my oil filter housing to the aluminum Weisstec with the drain plug in hopes of making it easier in the future. Pricey, but hopefully will last and make my life easier.

The F10 version didn't have a drain plug either. The only one I know of is the Weistec, and like Demon said, pricey. But it's very nice and worth it for the DIY types.
