If you are concerned with scratches either have your roof wrapped or use some quick detailer before you mount it. FYI there is more of a risk of scratching the roof installing and removing the factory setup than with the SeaSucker |

I have the Thule racks with 3 bike carriers. You just use one key to take off the cap covers, then its 4 bolts and I lift the whole thing off as one. 5 mins max.
