I find plenty of the headlines here tedious but it's nice that they try to cater to folks waiting impatiently for their new cars to arrive, especially a new platform. It will all be over soon!

I find this board, in general, to be much less active than when I was over on the e92 boards. I chalk it up to the (let’s face it, ladies and gentlemen) “relative age disparities” in the two platforms. Hey, I’ve made my peace with it. My M5 suits my pleasure-loving, occasional highway blast, old-fart ass just fine!
Don’t get me wrong, I loved my e92 M3, but I am definitely IN love with my M5! |

Doesn't bother me....I've always felt anything lower than the M5 is basic anyways. Cool cars for that demographic but wouldn't be caught dead in one over age 30.

My guess is that the majority of M customers buy the M3/M4 so it makes sense to see the coverage we're seeing. I actually enjoyed the Instagram series by the people behind the cars. Maybe they'll do that for the other M cars too.

I agree with you here, I look forward to seeing the different episodes on the car, even though I’m not a fan of it. But in the end, it’s engineered well and still part of the family. I won’t disown it completely. It should be a solid performer, questionably front end aside.

Haha. That, and the “what’s wrong with BMW” stuff.
They make a number of cars I could buy, and a number of them I wouldn’t. But the hyper analysis about the brand as a whole being lost is exhausting as well, at least to me. |

Can't say I'm tired of it since I don't read it ... straight here for me. M8 forum on occasion.
About to order M5 #6 ... skipped the whole M3/M4 thing altogether.

I pin this page on Safari and come right to it, so I never see the ads you are referring to LOL.
The new 3 series makes me puke. I am eyeing a 2020 M8 convertible, perhaps the last of decent looking 8 series. Once they screw up the grill on that, YUKE. Mike
