Frustrated with my 100-200 result(Evolve Stage 2)

Evolve says our fuel is crap, but the result is nearly same as stock.
Wanna know your thoughts
Thanks

The key to understanding why something is or isn't performing is looking at detailed data logs to check boost, timing, knock, AFR, etc.

Stock 100-200 is 7.7 for base M5 and 7.4 for competition, so 6.9 looks like improvement

For sure its improvement, but Imran on Stage 2 from Evolve was able to get down to 5,81 so I get the frustration of our friend.

Temp, altitude and DA are logged by Dragy now, they're at the top of the pic the OP enclosed.

Mine are not recording accurate DA. I have 2 hand helds plus a weather station at the track. All 3 fall within 300ft. My Dragy is about 900ft high. Example yesterday actual was 4668ft at 86F ambient. Dragy was 5582ft with a crazy 64F ambient. Might just be my location, but it is not close.

It seems like you're ignoring every other post here. Folks are providing their stock numbers and yours show a substantial improvement.

If your gas is a bit $hit, try some reputable octane booster. I use this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

... and it works as advertised.

What makes you say Evolve doesn't give a #uck? Are they that unresponsive?

That’s why I went with DME and Mo! Amazing customer service.

The tuner (Not DME) I work with always mentions that Evolve is great with the old generations (e60) and the e92. I suggest looking at DME and other reputable tuning companies

I am not ignoring, i read all the comments but our gas rating is better than 91 octane, what i am saying is, simple piggy tune is around the same as evolve stage 2.

Fair enough.

92 octane pump gas is what's available to me and it's not enough for higher boost targets hence I add the octane booster. Evolve may well be using higher-octane fuel, it's more readily available (or at least it used to be) than it is here in the States. That might explain the delta. In addition, perhaps your car has the dreaded gas particulate filter in it.

Beyond that -->

One of the members posting on this just PM'd me with the thread. Of course we care but posting on the forum is not the best way to contact us. Our email is sales@evolveautomotive.com

It is the first time I'm personally aware of this. Octane/IAT makes a huge difference to the performance of these cars. If you run some higher octane/octane booster we can provide you with a higher octane tune.

What was your actual 100-200 time. We need to concentrate on the delta on your car - not what other people are getting on their stock cars running different fuel etc.

Either way please contact us directly and we can try and assist with making your car faster.

That is on 99 RON fuel as that is what is readily available in the UK. Our customers in Germany have access to 102 RON and are able to to do 5.6 on the same tune.

How do you know I didn’t contact with them ? And who are you to say grow up to me ? You don’t know nothing, i speak with his dealer all the time, they know about the issue, this is not my first time tuning a car, i know all about the octane ratings and horsepower, you wanna know what was evolve’s last answer to me ?

They said this is max we can do with your octane ratings, which is not true, stock m5 here in Turkey runs 7.2-7.3 100-200km/h all the time, now tell me stage 2 file is fine with 6.9. Get your facts right the speak.

I get it, I'm probably getting your stage2 in the coming two weeks and using Shell 99 only so we will see if OP is right.
