M School On The West Coast For M Driver's Package

Hi Guys,

As many of you know, if you elect to get the M Driver's Package for your F90 M5 you get one special track day of their driving school. I have spoken with them a few times and this program is more advanced than the standard 1 day M School. I have attached the dates for the West Coast School below. If you are out west and want to join us please reply to this thread and let us know which days could work for you.

Here are the upcoming dates:

1. Monday 8:30am March 11.

2. Monday 8:30am May 20.

3. Monday 8:30am June 17.

4. Sunday 8:30 am July 7.

It's held at the BMW Performance Center at Thermal, CA. What is an FE Purchase?

This package is for M owners who elected to have the M Driver's Package on their new car. This package raises the top speed limit and you get a special 1-day driver's track day.

M3 CS driver here, but all CS have the M Driver's Package. I am still waiting for my certificate (purchase in December). The M School won't let me schedule until I have the physical certificate in hand.

I didn't know that this program was different than the regular 1 Day M School. Regardless, I am going to upgrade and do the 2 Day Advanced M School when I get it all set up now.

I'd prefer to fly out to Cali and use a loaner for the 1 day course. is this an option?

BMW provides the car and you can drive it like you stole it.

I was at Thermal at the beginning of February for the 2 day M School. Had an absolute great time. Unfortunately no M5s. Parts for brakes were taking 3weeks+ from Germany, so it was M3, M4 and M2s.
Note, watch where you sit in the class for meeting. You get separated into groups of 5 or 4. If you are in a group of skilled drivers the 2 day is more enjoyable.
