Thanks for posting. The extra 370-380lbs is really hurting the Merc. Offsets the extra torque. Active Aero is cool though.

The GT63S's are sitting. Almost every dealer got an allocation for a Jupiter Red Launch version or 2 (some even 3) and at 169k msrp and a shitbox residual of 52% or lower with an MF around .00300 the car has had no traction (no pun cause its actually got grip LOL).

I just dont know how this car is going to move at that price point and I had made a comment months ago that this is the Panny Turbo version 2.0.

For this car to move it needs to have an attractive lease payment. If I did a basic lease calc at msrp on a 52% residual at .00300 the payment is about 3200 a month with 7.75% tax or around there. Fuck NO.

I don't understand this either. It's almost feels like they are making the car unsellable on purpose.
Not the most attractive car to begin with, a bloated price, a non-discounted MF coupled with low residual makes this a showroom keeper.

Not a great first impression. I have seen GT 63s' for over $200k and they are virtually identical with our E63s ED1 apart from the $65k difference. A $1500 plug-in tune fixes the remaining HP difference.

What were they thinking?

Wolfgang, I have no freaking clue.

Those matte blue 200k cars will lease for 3800 + if someone leases it at buyrate and msrp for 36 months.

My buddy who has minority ownership in the store you got your GTC from says they drive phenomenal and he has an R8 and a 991.2 GT3 currently.

$3800... Speechless...

Sorry for the OT reply. Please let him know I had an awesome experience with the dealership and the crew. Plus a killer deal Will do a shoutout when posting the review (that car sounds soo good. The E63s is quiet compared it...)

I honestly thought the same until that roll race. Math says you are right - but the way the CE pulled after the MB got the hit? Either that or it is simply a strong version of the car.

Good grief that is not good. I actually like what AMG did here with the GT63 - and I don't want other cars like this to disappear due to this car not performing as it should. There is a lot to like here.

If the M5 Comp could smoke what appears to me an M8 competitor, imagine what an M8 Comp would do. And 700+ hp? BMW really DO underestimate their cars.

The reality is the GT63 is the new CLS63 and MB dumbed the hell out of the actual CLS with a "53" variant. This is a $130K car at best. It is not a $180K car. At its price point there is no way anyone should buy it over an M5 which already outperforms it. Once the new M8 GC becomes available, this thing is toast.

Nod, no $hit--that interior is to die for... and they moved the shifter off of the steering column; another big win.

These two aren't directly in competition with one another and if I'm brutally honest, given the choice, I'd take the AMG. Its engine just needs a tune.

I'm excited for the M8 GC. But BMW need to 'aggressive the $hit' out of it because the M850i doesn't cut it to my eye.

M8 weight might give the M5 the advantage numerically.

Let's get the F90 on track against these competitors. I believe they are as close to the F90 as they will get in a straight line. F90comp defies laws on track.

Hi Vic, Long time no see man.
I was reading your comment and wanted to add if I was looking for a $ 3500 monthly payment, I would buy a 570 McLaren and pay it off in 6 years. At least I would drive a super car
