Here's my M5 CS delivered.

After 8 months of waiting, wondering if I would even get the car delivered in 2021, going back and fourth from scheduled for production to start of production. From checking bmwusa.com 3-4 times a day hoping to move forward one more step, to calling BMW genius twice a week hoping they had additional information about my build. From stop sale issues due to the supply shortages at the port to organizing transport from the dealership in Maryland to Florida…FINALLY…She is here.

This ends up being an early Christmas present for me. This is not a review thread this is just a reveal thread.

Big shoutout to my CA David Aviles from BMW of Catonsville in Maryland for getting me an allocation and selling me at MSRP.

I apologize for the portrait style photos attached but everything I do is for instagram not for a PC. Anyway enjoy the shots and if you follow me on insta I'll be uploading lots of video and photos. Enjoy!

P.S. I have lots of things planned, already purchased some on back order some already in my possession for my car. I'll leave that for another thread as it's quite extensive.

Did your car come with strippers from the factory, or was this done at a dealer?

I got to install the cf skirts, cf engine covers, the tri-color stripes and the M light when opening the door at the port. Which means it's on the cars sticker, which is what I wanted for resale value purposes.
However anyone wanting accessories or M Performance parts installed, I would highly suggest NOT to do port install right now, as it delayed my car by another 2 - 3 weeks. In hind sight, it being added to the sticker is not worth the extra time it took to get to me, so best to have it done after delivery.

You are correct. It does come with CF engine cover.

The main engine cover in the back is standard. The 3 other pieces are optional. I think it dresses up the engine bay nicely. (See photo).

you said you have an extensive mod list planned, are you going to lower it? If so, let me know what springs. Planning to lower my dad's for sure with spacers.

My mod list is mostly cosmetic apart from exhaust and secondary down pipes. I would like to lower it slightly but I don't want to mess too much with what the BMW engineers did with the car. So I'm going to add the spacers first and see what it looks like then decide.

consider removing the resonator in the midsection of the car... trust me. very solid mod. Not overly loud, still sounds stock at times, and cheap.

May not be for everyone but it's been overwhelmingly positive for everyone that's seen it. I wanted something different. I didn't want mine to look like every other CS in frozen deep green out there. I really like it.

@phoenixbmwlife nice car. Sounds like will be a great car. Is this your daily driver? Do you modify all your cars? I hate to see cars modified, especially special ones like the CS. It is your car so enjoy!!!

Thanks! Perhaps my post made it sound like I am modifying the hell of of my car. Much more than I am actually planning. It is extensive to me since I've never done anything besides spoilers on my cars before. Will def make a thread about it once everything is ordered and starting to install. I'm not doing anything mechanically besides DPs and exhaust. Not like I really need more HP. I just want it to sound better. I just need better sound. Everything else is cosmetic which means it can easily go back to stock without damaging what BMW created originally.
