19 M5C limp/safe mode randomly

Hello,

I have a 2019 M5C, about 36,000 miles on the clock.

The last few days I have had it pop into what appears to be limp mode.

But I don't know for sure. No check engine, or drive train malfunction lights come on at all. The only way I notice is by feeling the car stutter a little bit, and notice the tachometer redline lowered to 4,000 RPM. Does not let me go above that.

I turn car off and on it goes away, then randomly comes back, not all the time though, happened maybe 4-5 times in the last 48 hours. Notice it mostly at say a stop light. I haven't noticed it happen after anything specific ie: launch, or hard driving.

Car is stock currently, but I did have a Racechip GTS Black on it for a few weeks. However this happened before and after taking the Racechip off.

Any thoughts? BMW dealer has told me they couldn't get it to replicate. Ill need it to happen and get it in there with out turning it off apparently.

Is this limp mode? Ive always thought full limp would have at least a warning light, or drive train malfunction message. But all systems are "ok" in the car when its like this.

Thanks in advance.
